The eternal existence of globalization

The eternal existence of globalization

By Cristian Ramirez Gaston

The complexity of studying this phenomenon has attracted various sciences to contradict and deepen this phenomenon originated when, if ever existed or is the final phase of capitalism in which we live, or has always had its existence.

Globalization has a connotation that is always correct and linked with the economic, and also has social, technological and cultural.

But let's go back to the past and the old cultural globalization itself and had its origins 5000 years before Christ when the Jews sought to invade and conquer new lands or countries to impose their religion and their culture, so we could say then from that moment we were in the presence of a globalization that began to start and grow.

We move forward in our analysis, how many countries must speak the same language? This is also due to cultural globalization that influenced those countries in the languages spoken in common. Let's also great conquerors like Christopher Columbus who discovered America beyond existing theories he never knew he had done, and what technology has always existed? Of course, if we can make the big wars that took to Troy with large ships that did not have the people who were to be conquered, Alexander the Great, until the industrial revolution was a major step toward a modern future.

We can then define what is technology today because it sounds to something that relates only to the Internet, digital, a concept that is completely wrong.

Technology is defined as the set of knowledge and techniques, applied in a logical and orderly, enable humans to change their environment or virtual material to meet their needs, that is, a combined process of thought and action in order to create useful solutions.

While globalization has rigged several scenarios as cultural, technological, social and economic, to my mind what I see is a chain of interrelated factors that can not be analyzed independently, but the opposite is true.

Here is an example, we have the European Union where, although most countries have different languages and different cultures, there is increasing homogeneity of different criteria to unify the countries comprising the European Union.

Globalization is a phenomenon that will always exist and will continue because it is dynamic and continues to grow, but I'll try to explain as best as possible that can slow down and not cause damage to produce greater inequality between the wealth and poverty in countries emerging industrial countries.

Big companies like multinationals and their powerful brands have diversified over the world buying up large markets, producing big profits and large corporations destroying local markets, but my question makes me think why this occurs? Because of their great brand strategies, business planning and? Or the lack of nationalism of some countries?

The answer lies in what I think they wont last, I think there are more nations predisposed to consume products and brands out there that their own nationals and have nothing to do with quality standards and business processes.

An example of regionalization, in Peru, there is a drink called Inca Cola is the drink most sold in all of Peru, is yellow and has a great taste, the direct responsibility of coca cola, and even if you do not believe much more than selling Coca Cola oligopolies this monster was so strong positioning Inca Cola in Peru, the Coca Cola had to buy because he lost much market in Peru. This example does not demonstrate that regional products and nationalist beliefs can stop at some point not at all please do not misunderstand that globalization. But if that can stop this phenomenon is producing much damage worldwide, there are many more examples of these cases, see in the Middle East, Japan, where many American companies have been unable to penetrate as they have wanted to achieve.

Globalization is a phenomenon which is parallel to capitalism that we live in today, capitalism has shown us that suffered through three major crises of 1890, the crisis of 1929 and finally the oil crisis that has not been overcome yet. But what if the fall capitalism, globalization would cease to exist? I am completely convinced that there would still exist to a lesser extent perhaps because as I tried to explain all this linked article and the global economy and capitalism would seriously affect globalization especially in large corporations, the stock exchanges world's major cities and financial transactions.

Another strategy that could slow globalization is quite famous Tobin that the name of the economist receives Nobel Prize in economics, it proposes to apply a 0.1% tax on financial transactions that occur throughout the world and the same focus to developing countries, but certainly was not implemented by the interests of global agencies continues to be a great contribution to the global economy.

I then tried to explain clearly the strategies that can be done to stop globalization does not make it disappear because it is impossible but that causes minor damage.

I also apologize to the readers because in my article titled Globalization: the final stage of capitalism? several years ago where I wrote and explained subliminally that globalization was the final stage of capitalism where we live, and left open the reader that you think of this poses today after several research articles published worldwide and embedded in this topic I come to these conclusions. So I apologize to readers by refusing to produce a confusion between this article and the actual writing.

Globalization is not something that depends on us but if you take the proper awareness and duly informed of what's happening worldwide.

Until the next article.
