SEO - Optimize For The Right Keywords

It's actually quite simple if you understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Why do the keyword research for SEO - optimizing the right words or phrases.
There are three basic things that you want to learn from research.
1) Number of searches per day. How many people are searching for that term every day? Obviously, you want this number is as high as possible. How high depends on what you are trying to do. Be aware that the number of searches will be different if you look at a broad, phrase or exact mode.
2) Competing websites. Equally important, how many people are searching the term is the number of websites are currently ranking for that term. Obviously, you want this number to be as low as possible. The least number of competing sites, the easier it is to rank for that term. In addition to find out how many competing sites there are, you also want to know how strong the top ten ranking sites for a specific word or phrase is.
3) Cost per click. If you're doing research for long-term key for the specific purpose of managing a pay per click advertising, you want to know how much money you should spend per click, for that specific term .......
