Which Bass Box for use with subwoofers
If you already have a subwoofer itself or if you are still looking for one that fits the sound you need and is the size of your car, you should first check what kind of sound you like to listen to. The choice will depend on what kind of listener you are and what music is appreciated. The hip hop you have different needs from a lover of jazz musicianship - so you have different expectations of a sub system in their cars.
In choosing a subwoofer, consider that a sub-sized 8-inch can not blow my brains out in the bedroom, but it can really swing your mind when installed in the car. A small sub would produce very rich bass, but moderate, while a larger one will give a ruling.
The next step is to find the box below to suit your taste and match sub for the bass and sound. The sub must be amplified, because the human ear is not able to detect the frequencies lover. The higher the bass, the sound is better for people. A large sub will give you more bass, but you will need plenty of space in the trunk. Keep in mind that a large size is not necessary because you can get a good quality 8-inch sub that sounds better than some expensive 12-inch systems.
Bass Box Enclosures, now that you have a subwoofer, the next move is to choose the type of container, depending on your taste in music. 70% of the sound coming from the sub would come from the quality of the enclosure has been installed.
Sealed boxes are recommended if you want a low bit 'more luggage space. These boxes are relatively small. Small cars like sports cars can benefit from this type of housing. The sound of the bass that comes out of this box is very accurate, but there is not much of the "boom" that most people look for in an audio system. You'll also need an audio amplifier in this configuration.
The other type of bass is the box ported or vented. This is greater than the sealed space so that eats trunk. This box is designed to let the sound back out too much from a port or vent. The sound channeled in combination with the sound from the cone produces a boom that some want to have in their car audio. No need for an audio amplifier of this configuration. Produces better bass and low distortion .......
