Safety Training Tips - Are you looking for Participation and build a relationship

To educate and train adults can be difficult and is very different from teaching children. The biggest difference is that adults bring experience with them, and polarization. Children are more easily led by authority figures and will follow the teacher. Authority makes little difference with adults. If training is not accurate, the adults into force on and off. Here are several things to consider when trying to train adults.

Seek Participation: Getting the class and the involvement of all increase the commitment. Develop group activities that require everyone to perform a specific task or role in a situation. The creation of scenarios and acting out events makes training alive.

Learning by doing helps employees understand the specific skills that may be required. Try to do any fun activities or games for all. In this way, you create a positive environment that includes pending smiles and laughter. This encourages everyone to participate. They see that it is right to ask questions, make mistakes, laugh at themselves in fun, and then being open to correction and introduction of new ideas.

Building a relationship: adult students appreciate a warm and friendly. Set a tone of open and sensitive that demonstrates concern for each individual. Show your understanding of the variety of their responsibilities and their motivation. By openly and actively preparing to teach the course you increase your credibility. The process of observing the work, talking with and listening to employees, evaluating their knowledge, discussing their experiences and looking for stories of all help create the feeling that you are interested. It is this "cure" that creates rapport. The more genuine you are perceived, will be more credible. Your credibility and helps everyone focus on listening without prejudice .......
