Who ever heard of a weekly Business Plan?

A friend of mine recently called me and said that one of his associates urged him to hire employees and expand his business. My friend and his partner had only been in business for themselves for three years and seem to handle the total workload between the two well. Still have time to travel and spend time with their loved ones. Their customers know them by name when they are in place and have an excellent relationship with all of them. They are building their business, growth and increase their annual income of about $ 15,000 annually. Do you think my friend is ready to expand?

If you answered no or not yet, you and I are on the same page. One of the most common reasons for business failure is expanding too soon or too fast. So when do you know when it's time to expand and start hiring employees? When you can no longer provide 100% customer service quality to all your customers. For example, if you can not take on new work, you can not meet deadlines, or there is an increase in error rate.

I mentioned earlier that the growth of your business takes time and is nothing to rush. Recruitment of employees means taxes and benefits must be paid, better management is needed, as well as other business "headache". In order to keep pace with the fast pace of managing their business and do not burn too many hours of work, it may be worthwhile to write. Do not write in as short stories, but write your weekly goals. And not using modern technology, but with good old paper and pencil.

Each week will become the 'John Madden' business and write notes, questions, and even diagrams with arrows and lines on a single, blank, unlined piece of paper detail my goals for the week. I call it my weekly work plan. For example, getting 5 new clients, writing articles 2, clean file sorter on your desk, answering calls search services, such as vendor lists are out there related to my field? Google these terms: etc.

Not only will this allow me to see or visualize my goals for the week, but it puts me in the positive frame of mind to get out and get what I want for my company!

One thing that you also want to do is make sure that this weekly half-sheet line with your overall business plan. Be as specific as possible in your goals. You can also create a list of column 2 things to do and it's for you. For example, the phone is answered with a smile on your face. Do not respond to e-mail of anger or haste.

And, finally, never underestimate the power of writing, especially with paper and pencil! You can use this technique in your personal life as well. research or taking classes at local colleges, online universities are the best choice?, find childcare in the evenings, join a gym.

If you write your plans you are much more likely to remember that focus on achievement and accomplishment! Happy Planning!...
