The Bodeguero Andaluz (Buzzard)

The Spanish race is located in Jerez (though comes from the United Kingdom) and is mainly used in the cellars, to hunt rats and mice and all kinds of vermin. It can also be used for hunting rabbits or hares.

Dog of medium size, white with black spots, of an athletic yet light and very agile in hunting rats, mice, vermin, when faced with them.

Their behavior is restless, in constant attention to every sound and movement, using sight and smell to locate prey that attacks the coordinated movements quick and agile. Temperament is brave when facing enemies higher than it (larger dogs, foxes, badgers). Is faithful, cheerful, and has good character with children.

The size ranges between 37 and 43cm in males and 35 and 41cm in females, making it ideal to take any home.

The hair is short, dense and pure white spots mainly black head and neck first complemented with tan on the face (tricolor) and two spots above the eyes of tan as well. Their weight ranges from 7 to 9 kg

I have one and I'm in love with this breed so I recommend to everyone to think about purchasing or adopting a dog and especially to those who have problems at home with rats and mice because the instinct is to eliminate the winemaker Andalusian quickly.
